Tinka's flagship property is the Ayawilca Zinc-Tin-Silver project, located 200 km north of Lima, in the Pasco region of central Peru. Ayawilca is a carbonate replacement deposit (CRD), an important style of economic silver-zinc-lead mineralization in central Peru (mines include Cerro de Pasco and Morococha – see Figure 1). The Ayawilca Zinc Zone was discovered by Tinka in 2012 and the Company has drilled ~100,000 metres at the property as of August 2023. Ayawilca has grown into one of the largest zinc-silver resources in the Americas.

Tinka owns 460 km2 of contiguous mining concessions with excellent geological potential for more discoveries and with access to water and power. The Ayawilca project is located 40 kilometres northwest of the Cerro de Pasco mine (copper-zinc-lead-silver), and 100 km south of the giant Antamina mine (copper-zinc-silver-molybdenum). A 220 KV power line crosses the Ayawilca project with new mine capacity.

Tinka's second project is the Silvia Copper-Gold Project, a 100% owned property acquired from BHP Peru in July 2021.  The project consists of 29,500 hectares of contiguous mining concessions and lies in the Huanuco region of central Peru immediately adjacent to the Tinka’s flagship Ayawilca zinc-tin-silver project.

Tinka is one of the largest mining concession holders in this world-class mining belt of the central Peruvian Andes.
