Vancouver, Canada - Tinka Resources Limited (the “Company”), (TSXV: TK) (Frankfurt: TLD) (Pinksheets: TKRFF), announces that at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on Thursday, March 21, 2013, (the “AGM”), Messrs. Andrew Carter, Nick DeMare, David Henstridge and William Lee were re-elected to serve as directors of the Company. In addition, all other items put forth at the AGM were approved,

Subsequent to the AGM, the board of directors appointed Mr. Carter as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. DeMare as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. John Nebocat as Vice President of Exploration and Ms. Mariana Bermudez as Corporate Secretary. Messrs. DeMare, Henstridge and Lee have been appointed as members of the Audit Committee.
